Tom Cruise wins German Courage Prize

The three-time Oscar nominee actor Tom Cruise received a special honor at the 59th annual Bambi Media Prize Awards ceremony held at the northern city of Duesseldorf, Germany.
Tom Cruise was highly praised for his brave projects.He has been given a Courage award for his willingness to take risks in movies.
The prize committee remarked that the star has pursued brave projects that otherwise would not have been made, including his forthcoming movie “Valkyrie”, in which he plays a German army officer hatching a plot to assassinate Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.
The prize committee also praised the actor for tackling a movie like “Valkyrie” which had never been covered by Hollywood before.
