Justin Timberlake recently bought a necklace worth a staggering $50,000 for his girlfriend Jessica Biel. Timberlake is planning to make up for the time he has been spending with Madonna instead of Jessica.

Timeberlake who is collaborating with Madonna for her forthcoming album Hard Candy, has been busy with her for the past few months.

This left out Jessica Beil, who started to feel uncomfortable with her boyfriend’s close working relationship with the Material Girl.

Justin bought the expensive white gold and emerald chain from top jeweler H Stern, on the advice of Madonna.

A source close to Madonna revealed, “Working on her album meant Justin hasn’t spent much time with Jessica lately and Madonna didn’t want to be the cause of problems between them.

“She suggested him buy her a gift, something expensive.”

The N Sync star gifted Jessica the neckpiece at her home in Los Angeles recently. A source close to the couple said, “Jessica loved it - both the necklace and the gesture. Things are going well between them.”

Smart boy Justin, or else Jessica would have said: Bye Bye Bye!
