Looks like the easiest way to make Jlo cry is by singing a song for her. That’s what a group of schoolchildren in New York’s Bronx region discovered. On Tuesday the singer and her husband, Marc Anthony, popped by PS 36 Unionport School in Castle Hill to kick off their upcoming joint tour, which starts Friday. To receive the singers to the school which was across the street the children sang to the couple, who were overwhelmed with emotion at the gesture.
Lopez and Anthony are donating part of the proceeds from their 19-date trail to ING’s school-fitness program for kids.
The couple also tied orange shoelaces around their wrists to express they’re “united” to supporting fit kids, and fighting obesity and diabetes.
Jlo told the kids “We look at you and we see ourselves, I can remember doing little songs at school and being onstage and dreaming of great things. And seeing all of you so full of beauty and life and energy, and knowing how far you can go, it still touches my heart.”
Well this is definitely a very good gesture and most of all very emotional.

The murder trial of the music producer Phil Spector ended on Wednesday in a mistrial after the jury, leaning heavily to convict him, could not reach a unanimous verdict. The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said it planned to retry the case.
Mr. Spector, who is charged with second-degree murder in the killing of Lana Clarkson in his home in 2003, gazed uncomprehendingly as Judge Larry Paul Fidler of Superior Court ended the trial after the jury foreman had reported a 10-2 deadlock. He was freed on bail.
Three jurors who spoke to the reporters said that the death of Ms. Clarkson, a struggling actress, could have been a suicide rather than a murder.
This trial was the first broadcast Los Angeles celebrity trial after the Simpson case in 1995. But this case did not attract the following or frantic coverage like other cases. Mr. Spector has not been behind a sensation in decades. He is best known in music circles for his Wall of Sound technique, marrying lush orchestral arrangements to guitars and other staples of pop music. A member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, he teamed up with top rock stars, including the Beatles.

In an interview with Nancy O’Dell in Access Hollywood, Drew Carey said that he attempted suicide twice when he was a young man. The 49-year-old comedian said that he suffered depression for a long time, and intentionally took overdose on pills at age 18 and again in his early 20s.
He stated “There is a reason we want attention all the time”. “Living in Hollywood, you can get disconnected from everybody. You can feel like you are the only one. So you feel it, you hold it in and you don’t let it go, and you don’t try to find help because you think, ‘Oh man, if I tell anybody, I’m going to seem like I’m weak. I won’t get a movie deal, I won’t get invited to…’ whatever goes through your head.”
And when he was speaking about fellow star Owen Wilson, who attempted suicide last month, Carey said “it’s going to sound cold, but I wasn’t reading the paper going ‘Oh poor guy.’ I was thinking, I hope he’s learning what he is supposed to be learning from this experience and not wasting the opportunity to learn.”
Drew Carey also spoke about the inspiration he found through self-help books. He said that he just read every single book he got hold of. He even said that he is always coming out bigger, better, stronger, and happier.”
He is presently hosting the primetime game show Power of 10, Drew Carey also believes the wheel of The Price Is Right beginning October 15.
