Uma who was shooting for the film jumped to reach for something and apparently fell rather awkwardly on her wrists. The fall caused enough damage to necessitate a surgery but Thurman hadn’t realized the extent of injury at that moment.

It is reported that the Kill Bill actress didn’t realize that she broke her wrist until the next morning. Only after she found a considerable swelling on her wrist she decided to rush to the hospital. The accident has put a spanner in the shooting, which would now be delayed by a week as Uma goes about recuperating…

But the singer braved all of her troubles to successfully finish her recovery program and returned to the stage towards the end of the year.
