Manoj Shyamalan’s latest offering at the box office is an attempt to look for the extraordinary events in everyday life. It is another look at the paranormal, and its called the ” Lady In The Water”. Set in an apartment surrounding a swimming pool in Philadelphia, it creates a haunted aura about itself.
The cast of the movie is super talented and the fantastic visual designing of the flick is done by cinematographer Christopher Doyle and designer Martin Childs. Night Shyamalan’s is quite successful in inducing suspense into the rather ordinary settings. But what we’ve come to expect from M Shyamalan’s , his knack of transfering one from reality to fantasy is somewhat missing.
But the $2 billion that his flicks have generated does show that his film making does strike a chord with the audiences. But all that would be history as his latest showing hits the screens. And what verdict it recieves only time can answer that. So keep whatching this space for more on that…
