In a recently conducted research by the Cinema Advertising Association (CAA) in Britain, Johnny Depp has emerged as the favorite garnering the highest number of votes.
The star who turns 45 today beat the likes of Daniel Craig, Orlando Bloom and Sir Sean Connery to bag the top spot.
Anna Cremin, rep for CAA said, “Depp has such a wide appeal demonstrated by moving from serious films like Donnie Brasco to blockbusters and comedies.”
“Few other actors have managed to be so versatile.”
Johnny Depp vowed the audiences for his role of Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean which has increased his popularity by many folds.
