Jackie Chan - I want to be respected like Robert De Niro

posted in Hollywood News |

Jacky Chan is tired of his image as an action hero and he wants a change in his image so that people take him more seriously like the great Robert De Niro. Jackie Chang is of the opinion that when people see him, they greet him by gesticulating and shouting wildly. Whereas in the same situation people would have responded for Robert De Niro like “WOW! Robert De Niro”.

On the same lines, master of the choreographed fight in his lates movie “Rob-B-Hood”, Jackie Chan plays a character on the wrong side of the law. The story revolves around three dysfunctional crooks that kidnap a baby so as to deliver it to a sinister tycoon but gradually fall for the infant.

Matthew Medvedev the real baby in the movie like all other Jackie Chan movies had to go through some hair-raising adventures which includes a high speed car chase, dropped from a hospital balcony etc. like any other Jackie Chan movie which are well known for their fascinating stunts.

Jackie Chan is now 52 quite old for a action hero and could be down the lane on his image with age coming by. He has fulfilled his role as a successor to martial arts legend Bruce Lee.
