The Simple Life Star Nicole Richie has broken off from her boyfriend Brody Jenner. According to sources, the relationship got one last blow when Jenner confronted Richie at breakfast and expressed concern over her “overbearing, manipulative and jealous ways”.
And when he finished expressing his concerns, Nicole asked him, “So does this mean we’re breaking up?”. And that was the end of their affair. As simple as that …
According to Brody’s friends, “Nicole was trying to forbid Brody from hanging with his friends, and he would not tolerate that”. “They just got together in the first place because Brody was looking for something fun and easy after his year-and-a-half long relationship with Kristin [Cavallari] ended. And, Nicole lives in the same apartment building as Brody, three floors up. It was a relationship of convenience!”
But what is more surprising is that after dating Brody for a couple of months, Nicole has posted the following message on her official MySpace blog:
“I know there are rumors regarding my ‘breakup’ with Brody Jenner. The truth is, we were never really together. We hung out, and he’s a nice guy, but my heart was never in it. Anything further is just a cry for publicity.”
We wonder how she can deny dating him … Is there any truth in her words or is it just a case of ’sour grapes’??? We are sure Paris Hilton may be having the last laugh after hearing all this ….
