Australian pop sensation, Kylie Minogue has been awarded OBE from the Prince of Wales for two decades of outstanding contribution to music.

The ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Head’ star who has belted out numerous hit singles was honored with the award at Buckingham Palace investiture ceremony.

The 40-year-old singer looking gorgeous in white satin dress received the Order of the British Empire with a polite “Thank You”.

A delighted Minogue on receiving the award said, “I was overwhelmed, nervous, I am so honored.”

When Kylie got to know about the award last December she said, “I feel deeply touched to be acknowledged by the UK, my adopted home, in this way.”

Kylie Minogue became a household name in Britain when she starred in hit soap Neighbors way back in 1980s.
