Kate Moss-Pete Doherty wed illegally

The last time I heard of Pete Doherty he was planning a trip down south to Thailand to be with his girlfriend Kate Moss but the latest on the couple has some surprising news that the two have tied the knot in the Asian country presided over by a Thai priest. It was a rather private affair at Phuket’s exclusive Amanpuri Hotel with Kate’s mom Linda in attendance. The Buddhist ceremony however, is not legally binding in UK.
Some rumors are going around that this is not really a formal wedding but more of a symbolic gesture to show the world that the two are really serious about one another. On the other hand given the fact that this doesn’t have any legal standing in native UK, it is till to be seen as to how ‘binding’ it turns out for the both of them when they get out of the New Year hangover.
